Bark From The Heart

SpenStu Pet Rescue

The profurrssionals at Spencer Stuart can all bond over the love for their pets. Many of us have had the enriching experience of working with the The Anti-Cruelty Society for the past two years making pet beds and toys during our Philanthropy Week. Volunteers had the opportunity to tour the shelter and get a better sense of the vast array of services the shelter provides to these amazing animals.

The Anti-Cruelty Society isn't able to hold their most important fundraiser of the year Bark in the Park due to the unprecedented threat of Covid-19 so they're doing the next best thing - Bark from the Heart!

Let's help the Anti-Cruelty Society to support the animal care and behavioral specialists, veterinarians and technicians whose essential work requires them to continue to provide direct care to the animals in their shelter during this crisis.

This year our team has set an ambitious fundraising goal for Bark from the Heart. The money we raise will be used to provide critical care for thousands of animals, and help them find good homes. In 2019 The Anti-Cruelty Society helped over 5,700 animals find homes. They reached over 21,000 people through their outreach programs; helped 1,770 abused or neglected animals through their field outreach service; and spayed or neutered nearly 10,000 animals.

The Anti-Cruelty Society has been building a more humane Chicago for people and pets since their founding in 1899. Since then, the Society has grown into Chicago's oldest and largest open admission animal welfare organization, and their programs and services improve the lives of thousands of animals and Chicagoans every year. The Anti-Cruelty Society’s mission is to build a community of caring by helping pets and educating people.

The care that The Anti-Cruelty Society provides to animals in need is only possible through the friendship and support of the community. I hope that you will support me and support Bark From The Heart. Your generosity will ensure that thousands of abandoned and neglected animals will find hope, comfort, and healing this year.
