Chicago Doberman Club

The Chicago Doberman Club is so excited to participate in our third consecutive Bark in the Park outing! Our pack of almost 500 doggos is mostly Dobermans...but we welcome ALL breeds! We are a social meet-up group that enjoys getting together at various dog parks, beaches and indoor facilities all over the city and suburbs. We hope you'll join us for this worthwhile event, for an amazing cause in our beautiful lakeside city!

Bark in the Park is Chicago’s oldest and best dog walk and party, and it’s also The Anti-Cruelty Society’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Bark in the Park begins with a 2.5 mile walk along Chicago's beautiful lakefront, followed by the best dog party in town with food, beverages, entertainment, and dog-friendly demonstrations. Some of the exciting activities planned for that day include: canine agility courses, pet product samples, dog massages, pawdicures, activities for kids, souvenir photos, and a 50/50 cash raffle. Participants will also enjoy a variety of free food and beverages, live music, and much more!

The money raised will be used to provide critical care for thousands of animals, and help them find good homes. In 2018 The Anti-Cruelty Society helped over 5,700 animals find homes. They also reached over 21,000 people through their outreach programs; helped 1,770 abused or neglected animals through their field outreach service; and spayed or neutered nearly 10,000 animals.

However, the care that The Anti-Cruelty Society provides to animals in need is only possible through the friendship of the community. I hope that you will support me and support Bark in the Park 2020. Your generosity will ensure that thousands of abandoned and neglected animals will find hope, comfort, and healing this year.
