Rach's Birthday Crew
I've been volunteering at Anti-Cruelty in Cat Adopts (#catsales) for about one year and loving every minute. I usually try to volunteer about 5-10 hours per month and am now a trainer for Cat Adopts Volunteers as well!
Besides being a crazy cat lady, I truly love seeing an animal (cat or otherwise) go home with their perfect forever family. In addition to helping over 75 cats get adopted in the past year, I've had the opportunity to educate kids & new pet owners about cats and cat ownership. Teaching little kids about animals in the best thing ever!
For my 32rd Birthday, I am fundraising for Anti-Cruelty Society through their Annual "Bark in the Park" on May 19th, 2018, at Soldier Field. Any donation would be greatly appreciated to help me meet my team goal of $3200.00!
Also, feel free to join us on the 19th with friends, family, and any & all dogs!
The Anti-Cruelty Society remains the oldest and the largest open admission animal welfare organization in Chicago. All animals are welcome at the Society every day of the year. We never turn an animal away from our doors. Ever. And once an animal is admitted, they can stay as long as it takes to find their forever home.
However, the care that we provide to animals in need is only possible through the friendship and support of our community. And by choosing to run with Team Anti-Cruelty, you are making a difference to each and every one of the animals that comes to us in search of hope, comfort, and healing.
