The Anti-Cruelty Society has been building a more humane Chicago for people and pets since we were founded in 1899. Today we are Chicago's oldest and largest open admission animal welfare organization, and our programs and services improve the lives of thousands of animals and Chicagoans every year. Our mission is to build a community of caring by helping pets and educating people.
However, the care that we provide to animals in need is only possible through the help of our community. This year, I am helping raise funds for Bark From The Heart. I have set an ambitious fundraising goal to support our mission to provide compassionate care to any animal that needs it. The funds we raise will provide critical care for thousands of animals, and help them find good homes whenever possible.

ABOUT THE A-TEAM: THE ANTI-CRUELTY SOCIETY STAFF
We are the staff of The Anti-Cruelty Society. We work every day to care for Chicago's homeless animals, provide veterinary care to the animals in our shelter and many in the community, find them forever homes, investigate and eliminate animal cruelty, and educate adults and children about the humane treatment of animals.
We use the power of the human/animal bond to make this a better community and a better world.
